Took this shot about a week ago and finally made time to add it to the blog. This is the infamous Miss Maggie Mae, our 18+ pound cat -- she's a great test subject for macro lenses and close-up shots.

Here are a couple of my photos from our Saturday evening trip to the fair.
I really love this shot of the chair ride -- it was just dark enough that the lights really show up but there's still some blue in the sky for contrast.

Since clouds were coming in I feel lucky I caught the moon at a moment when it wasn't hidden -- it almost looks as though a light from this ride has escaped captivity and is flying away.

Got to photograph some BMX racers at the State Fair -- the fair has added lots of interesting new recreation events and BMX is one of them.

This shot was taken during a late afternoon clinic, and the tall silhouette to the left is Adam Treadwell, one of the top pro BMX riders in the U.S.A.

Went to the 2007 Oregon State Fair for a few hours this morning, and we are planning to head back shortly. I enjoy taking photos of the rides, especially at night. My darling husband even managed to snap a quick photo of me as we got in line.
