Back in the dark ages -- well, the late 70's and early 80's -- a group of high school kids were lucky enough to share a band room. Our teacher, the new (to South) Mr. Dave Becker, attempted to make music. In reality, we made friends.

Some of us would like to re-make friends, if we could, by having a reunion of all those who shared the Becker Years in that band room at South Salem High School.

No dates have been set, no locations scouted or prices checked -- right now, this is just an idea. And it may be a good one -- or everyone may say "what the @#*%!" and tell me I'm crazy to think that any of us would actually want to see each other again. (Then again, Donna Bell Ferros said "for a Becker Years reunion, I'd jump on a plane today.")

So, if you are interested in a Becker Years reunion, let me know. I'll collect the names of the guilty parties along with any good ideas about when & where. And pass the URL of this page on to any of the other band folks you kept in touch with. (Admit it -- you did keep in touch with a few of the really fun folks.)
